Game Maker is not just a development program. It is a community of people. Thousands of people every day use Game Maker, and everyone does their own part. Some people only use it to entertain themselves. Others use it to create what may possibly be the best games around. And yet others don't even use the thing. However, people are not forever. The Game Maker society is constantly changing. New people come, and old people leave. This is where the GMWiki steps in. Few newcomers to the Game Maker world have any idea who made the best games, who stretched GM's limits, and who ruined it for everyone. It is in this project that the body politic shall be recorded for posterity.

How about making yourself an account? Once that is done you can go about creating a page all about yourself. Once you feel comfortable enough, you can try creating a few pages about important people within the community that you know.

Articles about people should try to maintain a neutral point of view. Arguing over who is better than someone else can easily be prevented in this manner.
